About Us

Twenty-three years of work we can stand behind.

Leo's Construction Services is a family-owned commercial general contractor based in Lake Wales, Florida, serving clients across Central Florida since 2003.

Our Story

Started local. Built a reputation for the work others turn down.

Leo Alvarado founded Leo's Construction Services in Lake Wales in 2003. What began as a small commercial outfit serving the local Polk County market has grown, deliberately, into a contractor trusted with work in some of Central Florida's most demanding environments: active-guest resort areas, themed and scenic construction, and public institutional facilities where scheduling, security, and code compliance all carry real consequences if they slip.

We're still based in Lake Wales. We're still a small, owner-involved team. That hasn't changed in 23 years, and it's a large part of why clients come back to us rather than shopping the next bid around.

How We Work

Small enough to be hands-on, experienced enough to be trusted with the hard jobs.

Our field supervision and project management staff bring an average of over a decade of commercial construction experience each, and every project is overseen personally rather than handed off to a rotating crew. Subcontractor trades are pre-qualified for safety record, insurance, and quality standards before they set foot on one of our sites.

That structure is deliberate. It's how a 23-year-old company with a small core team has been able to take on work at a scale most local contractors our size never see, and deliver it without surprises.
